[Malcolm] Cold City Buying Info

'Cold City', a game of hidden agendas, trust and monster hunting from Contested Ground Studios, is now available in both print and PDF formats.

Berlin, 1950: While the Cold War rages, the secretive agents of the multi-national Reserve Police Agency creep through the shadows, hunting down the remnants of bizarre technologies and twisted wartime experiments.

But the RPA is riven by paranoia, fear and suspicion. Everyone works to their own hidden agendas, the different nationalities look at each other through a haze of mistrust. In the darkness, faced by horrors beyond your worst nightmares, will your comrades watch your back or treacherously stick a knife into it?

'Cold City' is written by Malcolm Craig (a|state) and illustrated by Stuart Beel (SLA Industries, Changeling, Werewolf and many other RPGs and CCGs). Graphic design is by Paul Bourne (a|state, winner of the 2004 Indie RPG Award for Best Graphic Design & Layout).

You can purchase 'Cold City' in print format from the Contested Ground Studios website or from Indie Press Revolution.
[Malcolm] Cold City In Print!

Well, last week we got the printers proof for Cold City back from RPI Printing all the way away in Seattle. And it's looking great. The interior has turned out nice and crisp, the cover is sharp, all good.

So here's a few photos of it. Forgive the appearance of fingerprints on the cover, it's been handed round a fair few people by now.

Cover

Cover & spine

Interior

Cheers
Malc

Paul [Mob Justice]

The GenCon version of Mob Justice is away to the printers. We have only had a chance to do so much to it as the schedule has been really tight. Now (for me) its the big push to get the art finished for the final version, which will be out a month or so after GenCon.

Also, got Cold City back from the printers today. It looks absolutely great and we would probably be really excited about if we werent so bloody knackered.

Paul

[Paul] Cold city

Its a quarter past midnight and I've just sent the final Cold City text block away to the printers in Seattle.

This has been a hellish couple of weeks and Im pretty sure Malc will agree.

anyway, nearly there. Just a few bits and bobs to tidy up in Mob Justice and that can go off to the printers aswell. Then I'll get some sleep

Paul

Work pushes on with Cold City. Paul has done a great job of getting the final text laid out and it's now in the final stages of proofing. Good show all round.

Looks like the final production version of the book will be 128 pages, with 9 full page art pieces.

Cheers
Malc

Welcome

So, first entry to the CGS blog.

This is another we we can keep people updated with what's going on, what's coming out, our thoughts on games and so forth. General musings from the bunker.

All members of the CGS team will be able to post here, so in order that people are aware who is posting what, each entry will have the name of the poster in the subject line. So, a subject line might look like: [Iain] Me and my hat.

Cheers
Malcolm
